What is the greatest threat to the US?

According to Dennis Prager it may well be the ignorance of most Americans.

I do have to say that I agree with him on the fact that many of us are not able to articulate what it means to be American, and more importantly I don’t think most Americans know just how different we are from the rest of the world.

Most young people, and more sadly even many older Americans do not understand that personal freedoms stem directly from the ability to have personal property. Property that is not given or taken away at the whim of the ruler in power, or a vote of the majority, but is yours to create and dispose of at your own discretion. Without basic personal property rights no other rights can long withstand the desires of those in power to have more.

Only by teaching the generations that follow us about freedom, personal property, and liberty can we be assured that these things will be carried on to our posterity.
